Optima PLC – Versions

Versions mono-application

These versions have the feature to link the development workshop and the runtime of the application. They do not therefore allow to run multiple applications simultaneously. Their main advantage is their low cost, and the fact that you can leave on the installation, if you are a service provider, for example, the complete tool allowing to maintain and modify the application.

Versions multi-applications

With these versions, you can acquire separately from the development licenses and the licenses of runtime. The development license allows you to design and build a complete application, and to run it (a runtime license is included in the license development). The license of runtime only allows you to operate the application, with all of the visualization tools and maintenance).

Versions limited in number of inputs/outputs

These versions have some limitations, mainly relating to the numbers of inputs/outputs. They allow you to create applications small and medium-sized without any problem.

(2) The original license allows you to develop as many applications as necessary, each of which then need to run a Runtime license corresponding.

What is the version of Optima PLC best suited to your needs ?

Are you a school or a public school ?
The version of Optima PLC Education is made for you. Its low cost allows you to equip a large number of posts. Although limited, the number of inputs/outputs usable is sufficient in the context of training.

You want to develop a first application of small size and you want to optimize its cost ?
Optima PLC Micro or Optima PLC Start are best suited. The number of inputs/outputs allowed permits to develop an application without a problem. We offer them at prices that have no equivalent for comparable functionality.

Are you a service and you want to let your customer the full development tool, so that it can perform itself changes ?
The version of Optima PLC One thanks to the binding of the workshop development and runtime, which allows you to have on each job application-all of the tools necessary for any changes.

You plan to develop several small applications ?
With Optima PLC Liteyou purchase only once the development workshop. You can then purchase a Runtime license Lite for each new application.

You plan to develop several medium-sized or large applications ?
With Optima PLC Premiumyou purchase only once the development workshop. You can then purchase a Runtime license Premium for each new application.

Your applications are multiple, complex, and maintain many of inputs/outputs ? You want to support in the implementation of your projects ?
Optima PLC Gold meets all your expectations. You buy the development workshop once, then a Runtime license Gold for each new application. In addition, you get a day of training, a software maintenance for two years and unlimited technical support. If you want additional development licenses, for which your needs in services would be lower, you might want to opt for licenses Premium that would offer you the same technical possibilities. You can also choose runtime licenses Premium if you do not wish to benefit from the maintenance.
