Versions mono-application

These versions have the particularity to bind the development workshop and the runtime of the application. They don't permit to make operate several applications simultaneously therefore.  Their main advantage is their cost reduces, and the fact that you can let on the installation, if you are service for example, the complete tool permitting to maintain and to modify the application.

Versions multi-applications

With these versions, you can acquire licenses of development and the licenses of runtime separately. The license of development permits to conceive and to construct a complete application, and to make operate this one (a license runtime is included in the license development). The license of runtime permits to make operate the application solely, with all tools of visualization and maintenance).

Versions limited in number of inputs / outputs

These versions include a number of digital inputs / outputs limited to 64, and 8 analogical channels. These numbers of variables permit to create applications of small or middle size without any problem.

Description of the versions

Optima PLC Education	This version, strictly reserved to the public establishments of formation, is especially adapted to their needs. All functionalities of the software are available (with a limitation of the number of the inputs/outputses) for a very accessible station cost.
Optima PLC Start	This version mono-application permits to develop a small or middle application, the number of inputs / outputs being limited.
Optima PLC One	This version mono-application has all functions of Optima PLC.
Optima PLC Lite	With this version, it is possible to develop as many small and middle applications as necessary. The only limitations are about the number of usable inputs / outputs.
Optima PLC Premium	With this version, you can develop as many applications as necessary, whatever is their size. You have all functionalities of Optima PLC without restriction.
Optima PLC Gold	This version permits the development of multiple applications and include all functionalities without restriction. In addition extended services are proposed around Optima PLC.

(1) the license permits to develop several applications, however these applications require this same license to function. Only one application can function therefore at a time with this license.

(2) the license permits to develop as many applications as necessary, each needing a corresponding Runtime license.

(3) during the length of the software maintenance, you have the possibility to update your application and your workshop with the regularly new published versions.

What is the best version of Optima PLC adapted to your needs?

Are you a school or a public teaching establishment ?
The version Optima PLC Education is made for you. its weak cost allows you to equip an important number of stations. Although limited, the number of inputs / outputs usable is extensively sufficient in a formation.

Do you wish to develop a first application of small size and want to optimize its cost ?
Optima PLC Start is ideal for you. The number of inputs / outputs allowed permits to develop an application without problem. We propose it to a tariff without equivalent for comparable functionalities.

Are you a service and wish to leave at the disposal of your customer the full development tool, so that he can do modifications himself ?
The version Optima PLC One, thanks to the link of the development workshop and the runtime, allows you to have on every station the set of the tools necessary for modifications.

Do you plan to develop several small applications?
With Optima PLC Lite, you buy only one time the development workshop. You buy then only a simple Runtime Lite license for every new application.

Do you foresee to develop several middle or big applications?
With Optima PLC Premium, you buy only one time the develpment workshop. You buy then only a simple Runtime Premium license for every new application.

Are your applications multiple, complex and manage lot of inputs/outputs ? Do you wish an accompaniment in the starting up of your projects?
Optima PLC Gold meets all your expectation. You buy the development workshop only one time, then a Runtime Gold license for every new application. You benefit in addition to one day of formation, of a software maintenance during two years and an unlimited technical support. If you wished other development licenses, for which your needs in services would be least thereafter, you could opt for Premium licenses that would offer you the same technical possibilities. You can also choose some Premium runtime licenses if you don't wish to benefit the maintenance.

Is it possible to migrate a version easily to another?

Do your needs evolve, do you note that the type of license for which you opted is not sufficient for you anymore ? Optimalog proposes you to upgrade your licenses without any problem, quickly and from afar, to very advantageous conditions (thank you to consult us).
